Call for Papers

The Exeter Law Review will soon be inviting submissions of scholarly articles for publication in Volume 46 (2020/21).
​
The Editors of the Review encourage submissions from students and scholars in all fields of law on any topic of interest to the legal community that have not been previously published. All submissions will be double-blind peer reviewed on the basis of quality and originality. As such, authors are required to blind their manuscripts adequately before submission to ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer review.

The Exeter Law Review has a distinguished history stemming from its original inception as the Bracton Law Journal in 1967. It is committed to the highest academic standards and to making a meaningful contribution to the legal community.

Submissions for the Annual Journal
​
Submissions for publication as an article should be between 8,000 and 20,000 words. The Review uses the OSCOLA format and citation style. The deadline for submission will be released in September.
Submissions should be made to the Editor-in-Chief at exeterlawreview@gmail.com
The Exeter Law Review accepts submissions from all international legal academics, practitioners and law ltudents.
Submissions of Articles from academics can be of any length, and will undergo a double-blind academic faculty review from Exeter Law Review's Advisory Board and academics within the Law School.
Essays from students of all lengths will also be considered, and arranged in the published journal in their appropriate categories. Submissions of articles from students can also be of any length and will undergo a double-blind faculty review. The Review welcomes work produced in the course of academic study, original pieces, case comments and book reviews.
The Editorial Board reviews submissions annually, with submissions being accepted from September. Authors who intend to have their work are encouraged to make their submissions early. Official Publications will be released over the following summer.
Referencing should comply with Oxford University Standard for Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).
